Many of them take home huge salaries (granted not billions) but certainly way more than many of us could dream of, and some of them (I'm thinking movies stars here) may not do more than a project every six months (or so it seems).Tim Schillinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09159198592921510105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1735628051336217048.post-542005834559406672009-04-23T16:15:00.000-04:002009-04-23T16:15:00.000-04:00I would have to agree with the voxeu.org article r...I would have to agree with the voxeu.org article regarding Americans losing faith in Americans' ability to climb the income ladder. Times have changed since people could just stay and work over-time more frequently and get themselves noticed by their bosses to get promoted. It now seems that the only way to climb a corporate ladder is to get the best education so it appears that you are the best.
I would also agree with the article that people should be upset about the "unfair" rich (corporate CEOs etc.) who get the largest pay checks imaginable.
I however believe that people who are smart enough to invest their money well and end up being rich deserve to be that way.
In the end its obvious that the poor people are going to complain about the rich and act like the Europeans and the rich are going to want to stay with our current system. But some changes have to be made because one CEO doesn't have to have 5 mansions to live in.Sketchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11388672747435519823noreply@blogger.com
